The Hemp plant has many uses, from the fibres being used to make hemp rope, clothes, paper and the hemp seeds or hemp heart being used to make hemp milk. Hemp milk is made by blending whole hemp seeds or hemp hearts (shelled hemp seeds) in water, 3 cups of water for every 1 cup of seeds, that easy. Straining the mixture in a nut bag after blending is optional depending on how you prefer the texture of your milk.

The hemp plant is within the same family as cannabis or marijuana plant. The main and most important difference is the level of THC, the compound found within the family of plants which gets you high. Hemp plant and therefore products such as hemp seeds and hemp oil are legal and will not get you high because the plant contains less than 0.3% THC. Cannabis or marijuana are within the same family as hemp plant, however they contain above 0.3% THC, they can contain anything from 10% to 30% THC and therefore will get you high.
